Netflix Games is set to surprise fans with new features and upcoming titles. The company is investing heavily in cloud gaming and expanding its catalog of playable games to offer a more comprehensive gaming experience on all devices. By doing so, Netflix Games hopes to appeal to a wider audience and establish itself as a major player in the gaming industry.

Just over a year ago, the US-based company made its catalog of video game titles available to its subscribers for download through the appropriate store, without any added cost or fees for advertising. Now, the company intends to expand its reach by offering more immediate access to games, without having to go through the Apple store or Google Play. This will allow for an immediate access gaming service for all technological media, similar to the current streaming of movies and TV series. The aim is to broaden the pool of video gamers and make access to games easier and more accessible for all.

Leanne Loombe, vice president of External Games at Netflix said, "We believe that cloud gaming will allow us to provide easy access to games on any screen, without friction and providing accessibility to gaming experiences."

Despite the careful attention given to the development of the store and streaming integration project, there are still complex technical issues that need to be resolved before significant changes can be made. One of the biggest challenges is the restrictions imposed by Apple on cloud gaming apps, which is causing some delay in progress. It appears that the journey towards successful integration is just beginning, and we may need to wait a little longer before we see significant changes.

These statements offer an intriguing insight into Netflix's plans for expansion into the gaming industry through cloud gaming. It appears that the mobile sector may no longer suffice for their ambitions. Exciting developments are on the horizon, so stay tuned!
